Sampdoria's striker named 'African Richest Player

The four time African Footballer of the Year is the richest footballer in Africa according to a list by Goal

Former Cameroonian and Sampdoria of Italy's striker Samuel Eto'o has been named the the richest footballer from the African.
The popular football website released its annual rich list and Samuel Eto'o featured on number six at the global ranking making him the richest African player.

He has an estimated earning of about $96m (£63.1m) making him the richest African footballer.
The second richest footballer according to the list is Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure, ($68m) who is number 15 on the global ranking.,

 Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is the richest footballer in the world.

The Portuguese captain held off Barcelona rival Lionel Messi in the list with an estimated wealth of $230m.
