Stindl suspended for an extra game

Hannover midfielder Lars Stindl has been given an additional one-game ban following his red card in the draw with Stuttgart at the weekend.
Stindl was given his marching orders for picking up a second booking for clashing with Martin Harnik, who was shown straight red for his retaliation.
That would usually carry an automatic one-game ban, but Stindl will instead miss Hannover's next two games since the referee's report also stated how he insulted one of the officials on his way off the field.
He will therefore miss Hannover's games against Bayern Munich next weekend and the trip to Borussia Monchengladbach a week later. Furthermore, he has been fined €10,000 for unsporting behaviour.
"I regret my behaviour on Saturday," Stindl said in a club statement. "It was clearly down to emotion. Unfortunately I cannot go back and change it."
